PRIVACY POLICY

Your privacy is important to us. It is askCMD Inc.’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across the websites we own and operate (the “Sites”) and which link to this Privacy Policy. 

  1. Information we collect

Contact Information

You may choose to provide us with your contact information (“Contact Information”), such as your first name or email address in order to create a Site account or in connection with specific services or offerings within the Sites.  This is optional and is not required in order to browse the Sites.  You may also provide us with your credit card or other payment information so that we may provide you with the goods or services you have requested.  God’s Greenery Ambassadors may also be asked to provide banking information so we can make commission payments pursuant to the Ambassador Agreement.  If you choose to provide us with your Contact Information, payment information, or banking information, we will treat it as personally identifiable information, or “Personal Information,” in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

Quiz/Survey Responses

From time to time, we may offer the option to take quizzes or surveys regarding the Sites, our services or offerings, your consumer preferences, and other related topics.  These quizzes and surveys are optional and not required in order to browse the Sites.  If you abandon a quiz or survey, we will still have collected the responses you provided up to that point.  If you choose to participate in quizzes or surveys, your responses will only be considered Personal Information to the extent they are combined with your Contact Information or other Personal Information.

Technical Data

When you visit our website, our servers may automatically log the standard data provided by your web browser. It may include your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, your browser type and version, the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on each page, number of clicks on a page, and other details regarding your interactions with our Sites.  We store this data through use of cookies, pixels, or other similar technologies which you can control by adjusting the permissions within your browser or device operating system.  However, if you set your browser to disable certain technologies, such as cookies, some features of the Sites may not function properly. 

We may also collect data about the device you’re using to access our website. This data may include the device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, device settings, and geo-location data. What we collect can depend on the individual settings of your device and software. We recommend checking the policies of your device manufacturer or software provider to learn what information they make available to us.  Technical Data are not generally considered Personal Information unless they are combined with your Contact Information or other Personal Information. 

Contact Information, Quiz/Survey Responses, and Technical Data are collectively referred to in this policy as “information.”  We may combine your Quiz/Survey Responses and certain non-identifying Technical Data with that of other Site users to create audience segments of aggregated data (for example, statistical, demographic and usage data).  However, that data is not combined with your Contact Information and is not Personal Information under this Policy.

  1. Use of information

We may use and disclose information for the following purposes:

  • to develop, provide, support and improve the Sites and our services and offerings;
  • to customize or personalize your experience with our Sites and to deliver content and product and service offerings relevant to your interests, including targeted offers and ads through our Sites and third-party sites as more particularly described in Section 5 below;
  • to contact and communicate with you, including through email (you can unsubscribe at any time);
  • for internal record keeping and administrative purposes;
  • for analytics, market research and business development purposes, including as more particularly described in Section 5 below; and
  • to comply with our legal obligations and resolve any disputes that we may have.
  1. Disclosure of information to third parties

Affiliates & Business Transactions.  We may disclose your information among our related affiliate entities or pursuant to a merger, acquisition, or other transaction resulting in a change of control or a sale of substantially all of the assets of our business or of a particular product line or division of our business, in which case Personal Information may become subject to the privacy policy of another entity

Vendors & Service Providers.  We may disclose your information to our third party service providers, including, without limitation, IT service providers,  analytics platform providers, , marketing or advertising providers, professional advisors, and payment systems operators, with the understanding that these third parties will use your Personal Information solely in their capacity as a service provider and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Online Advertising & Business Partners.  Please see Section 5 below for information regarding how we use various online advertising technologies.  In addition, we may disclose aggregated or identifiable Quiz/Survey Responses, Technical Data, and Contact Information alone or in combination with each other, to third parties for their business or direct marketing purposes.

Legal & Compliance Disclosures.  Lastly, we may disclose your information to authorized third parties if we believe we are required to do so in accordance with applicable law, to respond to a lawful request by a public authority, or if we believe that such disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect our rights, safety, or property or the rights, safety and property of others.

  1. International transfers

The Sites are hosted in Ireland and our services and offerings are provided from our offices in Canada and the United States. By using the Sites and providing us with your Personal Information, you consent to the transfer of your Personal Information from your country of residence .  We may also engage service providers or business partners located in other countries, who may receive your Personal Information, all in accordance with this privacy policy and applicable law. Those countries may offer less privacy protection than your country of residence, and in certain instances your Personal Information may be accessible by foreign courts, law enforcement authorities and national security authorities in those countries.

  1. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies, web beacons, session replay/screen capture, and other similar technologies to collect Technical Data as described in Section 1 above.  Specifically, we have implemented [Google Analytics/Google AdSense Remarketing/ Google Display Network Impression Reporting/ Demgraphics and Interests Reporting] which use first-party cookies (like the Google Analytics cookies) and third-party cookies (like the DoubleClick cookie) to compile Technical Data.  You can learn more about the information that is shared with Google Analytics

Advertisers may also use technologies like cookies and web beacons to enable them to recognize your computer each time they send you an advertisement even when you are visiting another site. As a result, the advertiser would have the ability to deliver targeted advertisements that they believe would be of most interest to you. We do not have access to or control of the cookies that may be placed on your computer by third-party advertisers.

You can opt-out of receiving targeted ads from advertisers and ad networks that are members of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) or who follow the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising by visiting the NAI Website and the DAA Website.

In addition, some web browsers and devices allow you to broadcast a preference that your activities online not be “tracked.”  At this time, our Sites do not take action in response to “do not track” signals.

  1. Security

We use commercially acceptable means to keep your Personal Information secure and to prevent unauthorized access, or disclosure. That said, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute data security.

  1. Miscellaneous

Please let us know if you have any questions or complaints regarding our privacy policy by contacting us at our address, phone number, or email address listed below.  The Sites are general audience websites that are not directed to children younger than 13. We do not knowingly collect, use or disseminate any Personal Information from children under the age of 13.  If you believe we may have collected Personal Information from your child on the Sites, please contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to delete it from our records, when required by law.  California’s “Shine the Light” law permits California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.  In addition, Nevada law permits Nevada consumers to opt out of the future sale of specific Personal Information.  California and Nevada consumers may receive more information or exercise their respective rights by contacting us.

  1. Other sites

Our website may link to external sites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and policies of those sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy practices.

  1. Changes to this policy

At our discretion, we may change our privacy policy to reflect current acceptable practices. We will take reasonable steps to let users know about changes via our website. Your continued use of this site after any changes to this policy will be regarded as acceptance of our practices around privacy and Personal Information.
